We have finished the flooring and woodwork downstairs, we have moved onto the steps going upstairs. Stripping them and refinishing them is the next project before we move upstairs.

How are the stairs so far, Missy? I'm sure they were already refinished with a shinier coating, huh. And with the black heat register is now installed, keeping the room warm during the winter is not a problem. By the way, is your cabinet filled with teapots an antique?

The stairs were painted white, and yes our house is way warmer. The cabinent is from a store that remakes items to look old. The stairs are now finished.
