Landscaping

I have been very busy outside keeping up with my excising and new landscaping. The main event this year was the installation of a pondless waterfall. We were going to do a pond but figured when we pour our cement patio there we really don't want to deal with standing water. Also we rescued from an old creek old light posts that were discarded more than 60 years ago. I am going to put the pieces back together and make a light that runs solar so we don't have to string electrical wire. The back yard beside the shed is also getting close to done, all rocks were used and plants in there final places. Hopefully by the end of the weekend we will just need to do cement yet.

First Day of Spring

WOW! What a long winter and now today is the first day of spring. Lots of projects on the board for this spring/summer. First will be the stamped concrete walk/patio south of the garage with the path going up to the shed. Also tons of landscaping to do here. Next will be replacing the driveway and then we will be shingling the roof of the house and the garage. Hopefully we have good weather and can complete our projects with time left to do some fishing. Last summer was all about the shed so hopefully this summer we get to do a little bit of relaxing. I am posting a few pictures of an armoire that Jayd redid for me to put in our living room for our TV.

Update

Just a quick note some almost final pix of the garage, still need to hang lights outside and install gutters and paint around the walk door trim. Inside we just need to put the beadboard up on the ceiling. Also included are the pix of the cabinets J did for a business in town.

Working

Just another update, we have been cleaning out the old lawn shed and getting rid of alot of stuff. Hopefully we can haul it away this weekend. Also want to try to pain this weekend also. I am also putting up some updated pix of the shed.Other pix are of cabinents Jayd just finished up.

Season Windup

Well this summer has gone fast. We have the garage/shop up and 1/2 insulated,needs paint yet and insulation in the rafters. We will hopefully have the thing painted in a few weeks. My landscaping plans will have to wait till next spring. Not going to be pouring a cement stamped pad this year any more.

I have been thinking about redoing the bathroom downstairs. Found a wonderful arts and crafts style paper for the top 1/4 of the wall and then I want do do scored tile like upstairs on the bottom 3/4 of the wall. Here is the paper choice.

I will try to update our painting progress in the next few weeks.

Updates
