Blabbering......

We are going to be very busy in the next few weeks. we have friends coming down from Alaska next weekend. That should be fun. Then the next weekend we have two weddings and a surprise b-day party in one day. and Jayd is in one of the weddings. I am going to be so shot! This weekend we will be helping my parents paint their barn. Should be fun the bro's will be there too.

We have finished trimming around the windows and patching stucco. Jayd just has to caulk a few areas and then we can paint the new trim and then we will be done outside. Yeah! Then on to finally getting trim around my windows after 5 years. I wont know how to act, LOL

Bathroom

Just going to post the pix of the medicine cabinet. Doesn't it look like it has been there forever??? And also threw in a pix of Jayd replacing the attic windows.

Bday

Jayd kept his promis and he is going to install the medicine cabnent tonight as my bday present. I cant wait. I guess I am pretty easy to please. I said I am more excited about that then going out for supper or anthing like that.

Happy B-day

I walked in on my husband making my b-day present. He was making me the medicine cabinent I wanted out of Rejuvination. All we had to buy was the glass and the rest was scrap lumber we had around from all of our projects. What a handy guy. This is what it will look like but I will post pix of the installaton.

Windows cont........

We should have all the windows in by the end of the weekend. We are planning on getting up early tomorrow and start with the bedrooms upstairs and get those done. Then next week all we have to do is trim ouside and the move inside to trim which can be done when it is cold out. Just wanted to get the outside stuff done first.

Window replacement

We have been averaging a window a night with our replacement project. Hopefully we have them all in in the next week. The upstairs will be a challenge because we have to save the trim on the inside first. Downstairs there was no trim to worry about.

Windows

Windows came in on Saturday. We replaced the dining room ones, the basement and the one in the living room by the stairs. Will post pix as I take them. Jayd will be busy after work for quite a while.

We have air!

The guys came and installed the new furnace and a/c yesterday. Boy did it feel good. They said the old a/c unit kinda fell apart when they took it out. It was about 40 years old so it was time. I will post pix of the progress made and hopefully the new windows in a few days. I am assuming windows will be here today or Friday since they did not come yesterday. We are going to be busy but it will be worth it because we will be closer to done!
