Party

Tonight we have the annual DGR company party. Should be a good time, it always is. Free supper and free all you can drink booze. We ususaly have some sort of prizes. I usually never win.

speaking of partys the annual birthday party was pretty tame compared to the ones we usually have. At the end of the night there were a few of the girls that got up and danced on the bar. I guess that is getting to be an annual thing too.

Katie was down from Alaska with her fiance' Sonny. They seemed to be have a good time.

I will post some pictures of the party for everyone to enjoy.

Jackpot!

We hit the gold mine last night! We got a tip about an old building in town being torn down. Needless to say we got inside and found just about everything we needed to finish the house, minus the trim, and yes we had permission and the best part is it was free. We now have the rest of the doors for upstairs, hardware and the best part, the colonnades that are suppose to be in between my living room and dining room! I cant wait to get started. Anyway I will post a pix of the building.

You can see for yourself why they are tearing it down, plus it was driven into by a car and also a meth lab.

I have also added pictures of the columns what they are to look like. The bottom one is the best example.

Birthday Party and Stuff

This coming weekend will be an exciting one. My friends are having their annual Birthday Keg and the Sportsman bar in Rock Rapids. One of the gals Katie, is coming all the way up from Alaska, so it should be exciting to hear what she all has to say.

We sat in our hot tub again on Sunday night. Jayd built a cover for it and we figured out that the GFI kept blowing all the time because the heater was sitting on the bottom of this overflow pan under the hot tub and if a little bit of water that was leaking got there it would blow. So we now put the heater up and fixed all the leaks so we just have to wait a few days for the water to heat up since it is only hooked up to 110. We are planning on having an electrician over on Saturday to install 220 to our garage and put in a breaker box out there also.
